Children Under the Age of 18
The AwardTraq Website is not intended for children under 18 years of age. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act protects the online privacy of children under 13 years of age. California residents under 16 years of age may have additional rights regarding their information. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifying information from anyone under the age of 16. Our Commitment to Data Security

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
California Privacy Rights
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 and the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 entitle California users to request information concerning the disclosure of certain personal information to third parties. While you can always contact us at privacy@equitymethods.com with any questions, please know we do not currently sell data triggering these statutes.
Nevada Privacy Rights
Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A entitle Nevada users to certain opt-out rights. While you can always contact us at privacy@equitymethods.com with any questions, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute’s opt-out requirements.
AwardTraq Website Use from Outside the United States
Although our content is generally not intended for use by anyone outside the United States, the AwardTraq Website may be used by individuals located outside the United States where agreed to in a written legal agreement between Equity Methods and the employer or plan sponsor. In that case, the following additional privacy policy terms shall apply for those users located in the European Union and other jurisdictions where the General Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into effect in the European Union from May 25th, 2018, applies.
Equity Methods is a data processor, processing your data on behalf of your employer or plan sponsor, who is the controller and responsible for the personal data provided to Equity Methods for processing on their behalf.
Equity Methods’ policies are informed by GDPR and it is Equity Methods’ intent to comply with the letter and spirit of GDPR. In consultation with your employer or plan sponsor, as appropriate, we will honor any reasonable requests. You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal information (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we could refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances. We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it could take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
Special Categories of Personal Data.
We do not collect any special categories of personal information about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.
Databases & Information Storage
Equity Methods' databases are hosted on hardware owned and maintained by Equity Methods and its sub-processors in accordance with the agreement between Equity Methods and your employer or plan sponsor, which agreement governs data transfer requirements and the safeguards to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your data through administrative, organizational, and technical controls. Passwords
The AwardTraq service requires a username and password to access your account and personal information. You are responsible for choosing a strong password and keeping it secret. You are also responsible for maintaining the security of any email accounts you use to communicate with us. We take steps to help you keep your account information secure, but we cannot ensure or warrant the security of information that you transmit to or receive from us, or guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. We are not responsible for the functionality or security measures of any third party.
